Tattoos generally take about two weeks to a month to fully heal. It will require cleaning and care for only the first two weeks. You want your tattoo to heal as naturally as possible. There are many methods recommended and much debate on the subject but we can only guarantee our work if you follow these simple instructions. You will basically clean your tattoo twice daily for two weeks and occasionally moisturize it as well. You also must avoid tanning, swimming or soaking, picking, scratching, friction against your tattoo, and sunblock until its healed. Once healed through, using SPF 50 or above sunblock on your tattoo is the best way to ensure the longevity and brightness of the colors. Also if you are a first timer, welcome to the elite club and new life of petty crime, sex, drugs and prostitution. ;)

!!!DISCLAIMER!!! Let it be known that we do NOT advise or approve the use of any A&D, Vaseline, Tattoo goo, Tat wax, H2 ocean, film flam, snake oil, ect. Although A&D is used during the tattooing, it is not good for healing tattoos. The only time you could require Neosporin is if you allow your tattoo to become infected by not keeping it clean. Never use hand sanitizer or listen to the drunk guy tattoo expert at the bar who has 12 (count them) tattoos*

1. You will need mild liquid hand soap that doesn't contain alcohol as one of the first five ingredients, paper towels and a quality fragrance free lotion like Eucerin, Aveeno, Lubiderm or Curel. Remember, fragrance free! Upon leaving the shop get the stuff above if you don't already have it.

2. You should leave your bandage on for two or three hours. This helps protect your tattoo from getting dirty or possible infection. It also allows the tattoo to seep out the lymph (goo, ink and blood) without drying and scabbing prematurely. Once you get home (or a place where you can clean your tattoo) remove your bandage.

3.Wash your hands, then your tattoo with warm water and liquid antibacterial soap. Rinse thoroughly until it is squeaky clean.

4.Pat dry with a paper towel and let it air out but not in direct sunlight.

5. Continue to wash as stated above morning and evening for two weeks. Over doing it isn t necessarily a good thing.

6. When your tattoo becomes dry, itchy and flaky, which it will, starting usually within the first week, apply a small amount of fragrance free lotion. Always do so with clean hands and a clean tattoo. Do not use too much lotion. Just a drop or two is usually enough for a tattoo as big as your palm.

7. Avoid tanning, swimming, soaking, picking or scratching, rolling around in garbage ect. and continue these above mentioned steps for two weeks.

8. Please do not hesitate to call with any questions or concerns. Remember, there are no such things as stupid questions, just stupid people! haha
